What a wonderful surprise to open up facebook and find a picture of your Grandparents that you had not seen before. God bless that incredible Aunt Josephine who took a million pictures in the 1940's and '50s and then so generously copied and shared them for many years with all of us nieces and nephews.

Jonell,
ReplyDeleteI ventured in from Debbi's porch, through that little intriguing picture and caption about finding a picture of your grandparents on Facebook. I found a dear older relative a few years ago, when I found a picture that I had taken myself, as a teen, at a gathering in the Fifties in my Mammaw's front yard. It was of her and her eight eiblings, at the housewarming when she and Grandpa moved into their new little PINK HOUSE, built on the site of their tee-ninecy first little shotgun house, in a small town in Mississippi. I've since had a wonderful time corresponding with dear unknown Cousin, who has the same name as me
And then i was captivated by your next post, about family and findings, and I'm looking forward to returning to delve into all your lovely archives.
